fashion?

So I have always wanted to be an artist.I think I would have what it takes to be one, I am somewhat creative, and have certain skills that would help me be one?

Ugh, I used to be able to draw, but now not so much. I can draw patterns, I love patterns, whenever I have free time you can find me drawing little skteches in random places.

I always wondered what would have happened if I ever followed my dream to go into fashion and create master pieces. Fashion illustration, fashion patterns, something like this: ---->

 But life took me a different direction. I am still very fashionable don't get me wrong :) I just don'w work in the industry. I think that my dream job would have been to work for a fashion magazine, or a fashion puclic relations firm. I have been told many times though that fashion is a nasty industry, which I half believe. I understand the drama and eating disorders, and drugs etc., but life is what you make it. Just make the right decisions. Just because those things are associated to it, it does not have to define the industry as a whole.

The way I see it is, beautiful deisngs, creations, colors, life, shapes, patterns, creativity, hard work, money.

Yes, one day I will be part of it, impacting the world in my own way in this "glamorous" industry.

I am unsure on how to start this or what to even write. I  have always wanted to write a blog so here we go!

my life:

Let me tell you something, life is full of surprises. I never would have expected to be where I am now in only 23 years. Time flew by. Let me tell you a little about myself, I am originally from Montreal and moved to Ontario ten years ago. I learned English at the age of twelve and am still learning to this day! ha ha
I graduated University last year with a Communications Degree and have recently started to work with my father. Yes I work with my dad not for him (if that makes any difference). For the most part, I love it! It's great, it is maybe a little bit more pressure to want to do well, but that can only be a good thing right?

I recently moved in with my fiance, we are renting a house and it's great. lol. Living with another human being has its ups and downs, it's a good thing we love each other.

Um, well so this is all I have for now. Hopefully I am not too boring.
